Volleyball Recap: Clearwater Comes Up Short on the Road Against Largo + How To Watch

Clearwater kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Largo Packers, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-7.

Largo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mackenzye Clark out in front who had five aces and three digs. The dominant performance also gave Clark a new career-high in assists (six). Another player making a difference was Nicole Izzolo, who had ten assists and three aces.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearwater will challenge Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Largo, they will take on Countryside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
