Basketball Recap: Winooski Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Winooski waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Stowe Raiders 64-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-46 back in January.

Winooski's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Stowe, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Winooski will welcome Richford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stowe, they will square off against Twinfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Twinfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Stowe likes a good challenge.
