Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Dominion

The Riverside Ram will square off against the Dominion Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Riverside took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Heritage get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Riverside haven't had any issues with Heritage recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dominion). Everything went their way against Potomac Falls on Wednesday as Dominion made off with a 4-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Dominion needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit Potomac Falls with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Camille Prishivalko (2), Emma McFarland, and Laraib Zaman.

Dominion's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Riverside came out on top in a nail-biter against Dominion when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Does Riverside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dominion turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
