Tripp Brown went supernova for Plant, throwing for 180 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 40 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards. Another player making a difference was Ben Mackinnon, who picked up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Tampa Bay Tech now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Plant, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Tampa Bay Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Plant in their previous matchup back in August of 2023, but they still walked away with a 28-22 victory.
