Softball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lily Lyons was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lola Bleakley, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Northwest has already played their next contest (against St. Vincent-St. Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 5-3 win against Sandy Valley on the 31st.
