Volleyball Recap: Frederick Force's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After a string of six wins, Frederick Force's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Grace Academy Knights. If Frederick Force was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Grace Academy when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 16-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Grace Academy can attribute much of their success to Anjali Vemuri, who had 19 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Vemuri has posted over her last eight matches. Sophia Mitchell also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Frederick Force's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Grace Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-2.

Coming up, Frederick Force will head out on the road to square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grace Academy, they will face off against Spring Mills at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
