Baseball Recap: Village Christian Find Success

Village Christian got themselves on the board against Flintridge Prep on Tuesday, but Flintridge Prep never followed suit. They skirted past the Wolves 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Ryan French's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Johan Pelayo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Village Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Flintridge Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.

As of now, neither Village Christian nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
