Volleyball Recap: Findlay Trojans vs. Whitmer Panthers
Findlay lost against Whitmer back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Findlay Trojans fell just short of the Whitmer Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have struggled against the Panthers recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Findlay took Whitmer into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 25-13, 14-25, 15-10.
Despite the loss, Findlay still got an impressive performance from Ankia Helms, who had 12 digs and 21 assists.
Findlay's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Whitmer, they moved to 12-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
As of now, neither Findlay nor Whitmer have any future games scheduled.
