Carrollton barely beat Alliance the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Aviators on Wednesday. Eight seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The win made it two in a row for Carrollton and bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Alliance, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton will venture away from home to square off against Marlington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dukes' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Alliance, they are taking a road trip to challenge Aquinas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
