Football Recap: Kamehameha Kapalama Falls Short Against Ranked Kahuku

Kamehameha Kapalama faced Kahuku in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors took a 21-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Raiders. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kamehameha Kapalama's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kahuku, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Kamehameha Kapalama will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on JSerra Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Kahuku, they will take on Konawaena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
