Softball Recap: Bulkeley Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bulkeley's offense. They came up short against the Civic Leadership Eagles on Wednesday, falling 25-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bulkeley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amaryllis Gutierrez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bulkeley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Civic Leadership, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bulkeley is set to challenge their familiar foe Weaver at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Civic Leadership will face off against rival Hartford Public at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
