Basketball Recap: Webb's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

Webb lost against Sierra Vista back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gauls took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons. The game marked the Gauls' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Webb still got an impressive performance from Josef Sharifi, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Jimmie Brown III, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 15 rebounds.

Isaiah Aguayo was nothing short of spectacular for Sierra Vista: he dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards. Those 18 points gave Aguayo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Guevara, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Webb fell to 5-1. As for Sierra Vista, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Webb will challenge Southwestern Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sierra Vista, they will take on Jurupa Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
