Volleyball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pinnacle Classical Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pinnacle Classical Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinnacle Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Vanessa Sanchez, who had five kills and four aces. Evie Harmon was another key player, getting eight assists and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Pinnacle Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Pinnacle Classical Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Pinnacle Classical Academy will venture away from home to challenge Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, they will take on Community Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
