Volleyball Recap: Detroit Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Detroit had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mount Vernon Tigers by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Detroit walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 25-8.

Detroit's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Mount Vernon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Detroit will square off against Maud at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Vernon, they will take on Hughes Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
