East Gaston is 8-2 against Burns since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. East Gaston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

East Gaston's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They blew past Cherryville 9-0. The win continues a trend for East Gaston in their matchups with Cherryville: they've now won nine in a row.

East Gaston's offense was hitting Cherryville from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Payton Lenox led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Burns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy.

Burns' defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-2. As for East Gaston, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

East Gaston came out on top in a nail-biter against Burns in their previous matchup on April 1st, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
