Baseball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Belmont was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Pisgah Dragons, falling 10-2.

Belmont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collier Clark, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Belmont's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belmont will take on Tishomingo County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Belmont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Pisgah, they will be playing at home against Newton County at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Pisgah also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 6.6 runs per game.
