White Plains hadn't done well against Cherokee County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Warriors 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since March 7th.

White Plains has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-21 record this season. As for Cherokee County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-14.
