Volleyball Recap: Fosston Takes a Loss

Fosston had taken Sacred Heart down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Greyhounds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-13.

Sacred Heart got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Izzy Cwikla out in front who had seven digs and one assist.

Fosston has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Sacred Heart, the win was the 23rd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-1.

Fosston has already played their next contest (against Thief River Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sacred Heart, they will challenge Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
