Volleyball Game Preview: Central Valley Christian Cavaliers vs. Washington Union Panthers

After both having extra time off, the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers and the Washington Union Panthers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Valley Christian has 12 straight wins, Washington Union has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Kingsburg wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Central Valley Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Cooper Piepgrass. The Cavaliers blew past the Vikings 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Piepgrass, who had 13 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-9, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Washington Union came up short against Immanuel on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-18.

Central Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Washington Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-19-1.
