Baseball Recap: Vassar Vulcans vs. Byron Eagles
Vassar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Byron Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vulcans have suffered since April 30th.
Trevor Gleeson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Cheven Lesko, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
