Soccer Recap: Morrow Comes Up Short

Morrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lovejoy Wildcats, falling 12-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Mustangs were already down 6-2.

Rosie Lara wasn't going to let Lovejoy walk away unscathed as she scored both of Morrow's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lovejoy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrow will challenge Langston Hughes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lovejoy, they will host Dutchtown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
