Basketball Recap: Cherokee Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheeler, Cherokee was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 67-63 victory over the North Cobb Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-41 back in January.

Cherokee's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for North Cobb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-17.

Cherokee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Cobb, they will venture away from home to square off against North Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Cobb is facing North Paulding at the right time seeing as North Paulding is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
