Martin had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Lake Ridge Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Martin's win bumped their record up to 9-15-1. As for Lake Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14-3.

Martin and Lake Ridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 601st) will meet Arlington (ranked 247th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Ridge will square off against Boswell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (426 vs. 21).
