CHATHAM, Ill. -
Glenwood (Chatham, Ill.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 49-6 victory over Southeast (Springfield, Ill.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Titans were up 28-0 at the half.
Glenwood grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. GHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown catch by
Daniel Helm.
Southeast's lone touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.
The Chatham school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 49-0.
Glenwood (5-0) will play a Central State Eight game against Rochester next week, while Southeast (2-3) will take on Lanphier also in a Central State Eight game.
