Baseball Game Preview: Bethel Bees vs. Miami East Vikings

The Bethel Bees will head out to take on the Miami East Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethel's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Miami East's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Bethel is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Oakwood just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Lumberjacks by a score of 2-1.

Lucas Buckholtz was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Bethel saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Hutchison, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Miami East didn't have quite enough to beat Milton-Union on Monday and fell 4-3.

Miami East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bethel, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3.

Bethel skirted past Miami East 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Bees repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
