Jasper County strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 35-18 victory over the Jackson Red Devils. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

Leading Jasper County to victory were Chance Ross and JaMarkus Thomas. Ross gained 179 total yards, while Thomas rushed for 52 yards and one TD. Ross is also crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 118 every time he's taken the field this season.

Jasper County didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Jackson to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Zech Smith for the heroic effort on defense: he. Jasper County wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 71.4%.

Despite the loss, Jackson still got an impressive performance from Jaison McCall, who picked up 205 receiving yards and three scores. McCall's longest reception was for an incredible 90 yards. Jackson also got a significant boost from Danarri Brown, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 93 yards.

Jasper County's record is now 4-0. As for Jackson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Jasper County will head out to face off against Towers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Hurricanes their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Jackson, they will host Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
