Softball Recap: East Bernard Brahmas vs. Hitchcock Bulldogs
While East Bernard put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Hitchcock. The Brahmas put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Brahmas sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Haley Preisler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. Those 15 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three runs and one triple.
In other batting news, Kerianne Bosse was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Claire Viktorin was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs.
East Bernard's record is now 14-11-2. As for Hitchcock, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. East Bernard will take on rival Van Vleck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Brahmas 4, the Leopards 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
