Baseball Recap: Richlands Comes Up Short

Richlands fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lebanon on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 4-3. The Blue Tornado haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Gage Hylton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Richlands' loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Lebanon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Richlands nor Lebanon have any future games scheduled.
