Volleyball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Falls Short of Everglades City in the Playoffs

Foundation Christian Academy and Everglades City squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Foundation Christian Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Gators by a score of 3-2. That makes it the first time this season the Panthers have let down their home crowd.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Foundation Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 19-25, 15-9.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 17-7. As for Everglades City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Foundation Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Everglades City, they will challenge Seacrest Country Day at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
