McLouth strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Wellsville Eagles by a score of 6-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McLouth saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Turner, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Turner has hit this season. Leanna Larson was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

McLouth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wellsville only posted a batting average of .130.

McLouth's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Wellsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

McLouth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
