            Basketball Recap: Farragut Admirals vs. West Rebels        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against William Blount  last Tuesday, Farragut came back down to earth. The Farragut Admirals fell  78-69 to the West Rebels on Friday. The Admirals have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Farragut's loss  came despite strong showings from  Dominic Vanacker and  Parker Lane.  Vanacker  went 11 for 17  en route to 27  points, while  Lane  went 6 of 9  on his way to 21 points. That was a full 39.1% of Farragut's points, marking the third time in a row he's   posted  more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryce Howard, who  scored seven points.
Farragut's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for West, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farragut will challenge Maryville at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Farragut is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.1  points per game  this season. As for West, they will take on William Blount at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
