Basketball Recap: Healdton Comes Up Short

Healdton was the 57-40 winner over Waurika when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Healdton Bulldogs lost to the Waurika Eagles on the road by a 50-33 margin on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Healdton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Waurika, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Healdton will host Velma-Alma at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waurika, they will welcome Walters at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Waurika is facing Walters at the right time seeing as Walters is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
