Baseball Recap: Harvey Comes Up Short

After flying high against John Hay on Saturday, Harvey came back down to earth. The Red Raiders took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lutheran West Longhorns on Monday.

Aidan Englehart made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. Harvey is 2-1 when Englehart posts two or more runs, but 0-9 otherwise.

Harvey's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Lutheran West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8-1.

While Harvey had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
