Volleyball Recap: Maplewood's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Maplewood was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Windham last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Jackson-Milton Bluejays on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Maplewood still got an impressive performance from Aleesia Woomer, who had 12 digs and five aces. Woomer is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Maplewood's loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7. As for Jackson-Milton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Maplewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson-Milton, they will challenge St. John at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
