St. Charles North faced St. Francis in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The North Stars came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the North Stars, who have now won 17 matchups in a row.

St. Charles North never let St. Francis on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

St. Charles North can attribute much of their success to Addison Kashuba, who had ten digs and four assists. That's the most digs Kashuba has posted since back in August.

St. Charles North's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for St. Francis, their defeat ended a 14-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-4.

Coming up, St. Charles North will be playing in front of their home fans against Benet Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Francis, they will head out on the road to challenge Fenwick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
