Football Game Recap: Athens vs. Owen-Withee

Athens found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-43 punch to the gut against Owen-Withee on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Athens a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Athens are on a six-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 2-7. Owen-Withee's record is now 2-7.

Athens take on Flambeau at 5:00 PM. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for Athens and seven for Flambeau. As for Owen-Withee, they will face off against Athens. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
