Basketball Recap: Louise Comes Up Short

Louise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Tidehaven Tigers, falling 61-7. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-3 back in November of 2024.

Natalie Roades was Louise's leading scorer, having posted three points. Kenedy Long-Brown held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Louise's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Tidehaven, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Needville the next time they take the court. Tidehaven will head out to face Needville at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Louise will host them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
