Football Recap: Waterloo West Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Dallas Center-Grimes

Waterloo West's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 20-14 W over the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wahawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Mustangs are ranked 49th).

With the win, Waterloo West broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
