Basketball Game Preview: Flintridge Prep Wolves vs. Polytechnic Panthers

Flintridge Prep and Polytechnic are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Flintridge Prep Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Polytechnic Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Flintridge Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Rio Hondo Prep, taking the game 61-51.

Meanwhile, Polytechnic waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Dolphins by a score of 67-59.

Polytechnic is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Flintridge Prep, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Flintridge Prep came up short against Polytechnic in their previous matchup on Friday, falling 55-45. Can Flintridge Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
