Basketball Game Preview: Gramercy Christian Warriors vs. New Bern Christian Academy

Gramercy Christian is 2-8 against New Bern Christian Academy since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Gramercy Christian Warriors will host New Bern Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Gramercy Christian is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since November 3, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Trinity Christian and fell 63-29. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Addi Cook, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, New Bern Christian Academy came up short against Christ Covenant on Tuesday and fell 56-47. The defeat continues a trend for New Bern Christian Academy in their matchups with Christ Covenant: they've now lost five in a row.

Gramercy Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for New Bern Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.
