Soccer Recap: Escalon Takes a Loss

Escalon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ripon Christian Knights. The shutout was out of character for Escalon seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2025.

Escalon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Ripon Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.

Escalon wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Ripon on the 9th. As for Ripon Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Orestimba on the 9th.
