Glennallen comes up short despite Cheyenne Fields' dominant performance

Recap: Glennallen Panthers vs. Nenana Lynx
After a string of three wins, the Glennallen Panthers's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nenana. Glennallen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nenana apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.
Despite the loss, Glennallen still got an impressive performance from Cheyenne Fields, who scored 11 points.
Glennallen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Nenana, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Glennallen won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Seward at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th. Seward is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Nenana, they will square off against Cordova on Thursday.
