Bandys waltzed into their match  on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with  a   5-1  win over the Bunker Hill Bears. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered  a  3-2  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Piper Barrymore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Caroline Drum was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reagan Saunders, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Bandys' victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-6. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Bunker Hill, their defeat  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 14-5.
Bandys will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
