Football Recap: Littlerock Skates Past Eastside with Ease

Littlerock hadn't done well against Eastside recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lobos simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 35-7. For the Lobos, this counts as revenge for the 28-13 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Eastside's loss came despite strong showings from Riley Armstrong and Santiago Pineda. Armstrong picked up 101 receiving yards and one score, while Pineda threw for 202 yards and one TD. Jamir Williams also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

Littlerock's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Eastside, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Littlerock is set to take on their familiar foe Antelope Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. Meanwhile, Eastside will face off against rival Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
