Templeton extended their winning streak to nine on Thursday, bumping them up to 9-1. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 29-23 W against the Cabrillo Conquistadores. Templeton's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Nick Capaci, Weston Patch, and Wyatt Botts, who each picked up one sack apiece.

As for Cabrillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. They haven't had much luck with Templeton recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Several Conquistadores players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Wallace, who picked up 118 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 86 yards on only seven carries. Gabriel Barraza was another key player, throwing for 157 yards and three touchdowns.

As of now, neither Templeton nor Cabrillo have any future games scheduled.
