Lincoln came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Le Mars Bulldogs 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lynx have posted since October 19, 2024.

Lincoln had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-17, 15-6.

Jasmine Shields paced Lincoln's offense, picking up 16 kills. Shields got some help from Emily Townsend and her 32 assists. Shields was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Le Mars, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against A-D-M on the 4th. As for Le Mars, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Siouxland Christian on the 2nd.
