Soccer Game Preview: Mena vs. De Queen

Mena hasn't had much luck against De Queen recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bearcats will head out on the road to challenge the Leopards at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mena's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Malvern by a score of 2-0. Mena have beaten Malvern the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Malvern has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, De Queen made easy work of Magnolia on Tuesday and carried off a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for De Queen, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

De Queen's victory bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Mena, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-9-1.

Mena might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from De Queen in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
