Baseball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hancock can now relate to. They fell 8-3 to the George County Rebels on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Saturday.

Jaxton Necaise made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Hancock and nudges their season record down to 24-9. As for George County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-9.

As of now, neither Hancock nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
