Basketball Recap: Christiansburg Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Christiansburg can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They skirted past the Staunton River Golden Eagles 50-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Demons have posted since February 5, 2024.

Christiansburg's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15. As for Staunton River, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
