Basketball Recap: West Fargo Comes Up Short

West Fargo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 83-78 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red River Roughriders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (63), the Packers still had to take the loss.

West Fargo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Red River, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, West Fargo is taking a road trip to challenge Fargo North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red River, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Shanley at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in Red River's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 games.
